Family Pyralidae (Snout moths)

In many classifications, the grass moths (Crambidae) are included in the Pyralidae as a subfamily, making the combined group one of the largest moth families, with more than 6,000 species described worldwide.

These tend to be small to medium sized moths with wingspan of 9–37 mm with variable morphological features.
